ARTICLE III

1. Change the name of Article III from “Qualifications” to “Qualifications for Membership”.
2. Change Section 2 of Article III to read as follows:

“Prospective Members must attend three meetings and be voted on at their third meeting.  Meetings attended need not be consecutive.

When a Prospective Member attends their first meeting, the President will ask for a volunteer Sponsor or appoint a Sponsor.  The Sponsor shall be proactive and keep the Applicant informed of club activities and events.  The Applicant will be made to feel welcome and encouraged to take an active role in the club.  The Sponsor will become familiar with the Applicant’s background in order to make a knowledgeable membership recommendation.  An Applicant would be rejected by “No” votes from 25% of the quorum.”
