John Gillmann, 73, passed away February 8, 2026 at his residence.
The New York native was a retired Maintenance Technician and member of the Pipefitter’s Union #188. After retirement he enjoyed being a restoration specialist on classic cars, he was a member of the Dixieland Cruisers and Springfield Masonic Lodge #440 F. & A.M. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordan A. Gillmann and Elaine H. Roberts Gillmann. Survivors include his wife, Kathy D. Gillmann; children, Shelly Chambers (Mickey), Shannon Dellinger (Bill), and Chris Gillmann; grandchildren, Conner Dellinger, Kaitlyn Dellinger, and Cody Dellinger; brother, Gerry Gillmann (Allison); and niece, Lauren O’Connell (John).
